We later found out he was born in Georgia - and bought to try and breed his unusual piebald color. 2 Georgia boys - united 2 weeks before Christmas in the Big Apple.
I’m very serious, when on a personal note, I say that I know that I would not be ALIVE today - if wasn’t for the unconditional LOVE of my wiener dawg - Scooter has kept me going - when frankly - there wasn’t much left to go on. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to do this work - for one reason - to help dogs like Scooter Pie that are out there - starving, hurting, and alone and in need - to find their way to a loving HOME .
I salute Ellen Hatcher of Dachshund Rescue of North America - who does this work on a DAILY basis.
